Thiksey Gustor
Thiksey is considered one of the most beautiful monasteries of the Ladakh region in Jammu Kashmir. Like many other monasteries of Ladakh, Thiksey also celebrates its annual festival. The festival known as Thiksey Gustor is a two day affair that sees the famous masked dance – Chham – being performed by the monks. This year the festival date is on November 15 -1 6.
